Clinical Scientist (m/f/d)

PAION Pharma is a specialized pharmaceutical company headquartered in Aachen, Germany and part of the Humanwell Healthcare Group. Our focus lies on products in anesthesiology and intensive care, primarily for use in hospital environments, supporting healthcare professionals in clinical practice.

• Design and plan clinical trials for medicinal products in anaesthesia and intensive care
• Develop and author high-quality clinical trial protocols
• Build and maintain scientific and clinical expertise, and serve as an internal subject matter expert
• Collaborate with external experts and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to discuss scientific strategies and innovations
• Ensure compliance with international guidelines e.g.GCP

• University degree in Medicine or Life Sciences
• Professional experience in anaesthesia, intensive care, or a related medical specialties
• Ideally 3–5 years of experience in clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong ability to interpret, communicate, and present complex scientific data clearly and effectively
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong networking skills, particularly with KOLs
• Excellent self-organization skills and a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Precise and effective communication skills, including advanced medical writing abilities
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
