Your tasks

Overview:

The MSL (Medical Science Liaison) role at PAION Pharma is focused on developing and maintaining peer-to-peer scientific relationships with key medical experts. The MSL will collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals ensure up to date medical information based on scientific exchange.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and execution of the integrated Brand Plan for selected products
Identify, develop and manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other prominent HCPs in Germany and other countries as they relate to PAION Pharma products
Engage in scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs regarding the efficacy, safety and value of PAION Pharma products and related clinical practice trends
Present clinical and disease state information to a variety of audiences (KOLs, HCPs, hospital/decision making teams, etc.) upon requests and/or according to country medical plans
Identify, collect, and communicate medical insights related to market, competitors, research, and clinical practice trends, including key insights from medical conferences.
Conduct therapeutic area training for Sales & Marketing and other colleagues upon request
Participate in national and international scientific congresses and support data dissemination according to medical plans
Maintaining personal expertise in MSL best practices, maintain high standards of compliance and integrity with external and internal stakeholders
Maintain clinical, scientific, and value expertise in relevant product and disease state areas.
Facilitate key evidence-generating activities by supporting Investigators involved in the Company-sponsored or investigator-sponsored studies

Your profile

An advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD or PhD, or other postgraduate scientist or equivalent qualification).
2+ years of experience as MSL in the specialty care pharmaceuticals
Clinical experience in perioperative, anaesthesia care, critical care units or pain management therapeutic area preferred
Excellent written and verbal (German and English) communication skills, including ability to present to groups of varying sizes (virtual and face to face)
Proven track record of success in establishing and maintaining relationships with KOLs
Cross-functional collaboration with other departments within Paion Pharrma
